In my personal opinion, references are good, but endorsements are better. While most professionals can find someone to say something nice about you in a quick call, it means something more when they are willing to publish their endorsement of your work and put their name behind it. I work hard to gain the respect of my clients, peers, candidates as well as business partners and vendors.
